A few months ago I brought a domain name and did nothing with it so it was just sitting there. I had some free time so I thought I would build the site and get it ready for promotion. I have not done any serious promotion yet and probably won’t for a few months.

Here’s what I did….

-I setup wordpress
-Added pre written posts and pages: 7 pages and 4 posts
-I added 2 plugins PhpBay Pro and WhyDoWork Adsense
-I added a big list of ping sites.
-Then published the blog.

It’s been 3 weeks since I put the site up properly and I have been able to accumulated 800 unique visitors with NO PROMOTION, all of these visitors came from the search engines.

It’s so funny because that site that is a .info and has been active for only 2 months, that website is getting more traffic than this site.

Yesterday I purchased Article Post Robot (which can post all of your articles to over 400 article directories automatically), and I thought I would share all of the article directories I signed up with, with you.

To make the task of signing up with each individual directory easier I used Auto Fill on my Google toolbar, it took me about an hour to sign up with all of the websites below. Once you have joined all of the sites below you can head over to www.socialmarker.com and bookmark each of your Websites, Blogs, Squidoo lenses, Hub pages, Articles and what ever else you have, to enhance your chances of being seen and crawled by the search engines.

By submitting your content to these types websites, you will gain one way links, if your content is good enough you will get listed in the search engines for your chosen keywords and you will get free website traffic (sometimes server shattering).
