Firstly happy new year everyone, I hope you all had a good one.
So, about a month ago I put together a step by step course (Which I called "My Secret Affiliates") to help new and lost affiliate marketers get traffic to any type of niche site and how to make money online selling market health products.
I haven't officially released the course and probably never will to the public, I find the right candidates via forums and offer my helping hand (for FREE) if they look like they need it.
I met a guy on the warrior forum and I offered to help him out, in return he signed up under me at markethealth and we began to working on the Secret Affiliate Project.
Here's what we did...
1. Brought a targeted domain name.
2. Set up a 3 page product review site using Wordpress.
3. Submitted 5 keyword targeted articles.
Results: Well after about 3 weeks of setting up the website and submitting a few articles my secret affiliate has made his first sale! I am not exactly sure how much money he made but I think it was between $50.00 - $100.00.
My goal is to help him make at least $200.00 a week from market health products. At the moment we are still working together and I will probably continue to help him for another month.
He is the only affiliate I am personally helping at the moment, here is a screen shot of my sub affiliates, the first one is the sale he made.
There is some really big money to be made in the health industry and if health is something your into, I highly recommend you look at marketing health products.
To avoid being scammed by non trusting website sellers I have answered a few questions to help you decide whether or not it is a good idea to buy that website. This is based on the only 2 web marketplaces I buy my websites from, Digital point and Sitepoint.
Here are 5 question to avoid being scammed!
Is the website seller recommended?
Is the price worth it?
Are the web traffic and income stats provided real?
Does the site have Page rank and Alexa ranking?
How long has the site been operating?
Can you pay with Paypal.
Q1. If you are purchasing from Digital Point or Sitepoint there are 2 ways you can tell if the seller is trusted.
Digital Point: Digital point has a thing called "iTraders", this shows if the seller has previously brought or sold anything on the forum. If you can see that the seller has sold sites previously I would say they are pretty trusting.
Site Point: On site point they do 3 things.
They verified the website for sale.
They call the the person who is selling the websites.
The also have a "feedback profile" which shows if any previous transactions were positive or negative.
Q2. Is the price of the website worth it? Well it depends on how much the website is making and how much traffic is going to the site.If a site makes $400.00 a month I would pay max $5,000.00 for it. Substantial proof would have to be given before I made the purchase or placed a bid.
Q3. There is no real way to tell if the website sellers are being truthful about the website traffic and income stats. Sellers will usually show images of there income and stats. Scammers will sometimes add images of stats that do not belong to them which are FAKE!
Q4. If the website you are wanting to buy has Alexa rank of 250,000.00 or less it will be getting a lot of traffic. If the site has page rank of 4 or more the site is considered to be important by Googles standards. If a seller says that their site receives over 5,000 hits a day and there alexa is 1,000,000.00 or more they are lying!
Q5. If the website has been operating for a year or more that is a good sign (longer is better though). Just make sure it is indexed in the search engines. To check, just type the domains name into Google and you should see the domain. Any less than 2 months and they say the website is getting 10,000 or more visits I would say lying again! Unless the spend hundreds on advertising.
Q6. Make sure you can pay with Paypal because if the site does not make the income stated or has the traffic they said it would get you can make a dispute with Paypal.
Inclusion this is a risky business. You can lose out or get exactly what they said. Avoid scammers and buy from trusting website sellers! Choose wisely and you can reap the rewards!
3 mega spammers from New Zealand and one male living in Queensland have been caught spamming peoples emails with Male enhancement products. The TRIO managed to make $2,800,000.00 US dollars before getting caught. The 3 men are now facing long term jail sentences and massive fines of up to $178,000.00!
Although what they were doing is not illegal in New Zealand they can still be fined $178,000.00 This has come from a massive internet spam crack down.
Also the FBI is investigating online dealings into internet spying/hacking that is coming from foreign counties, countries on the top of the investigation list: China and Russia. Hackers cost the government and unsuspecting people millions of dollars each year.
Now if that isn't something to learn from I don't know what is. Don't Spam! and Don't Hack it only leads to fat ass fines or worse jail time! Do you really want to be somebodies B*tch? LOL have a great day!!!
Well today I was checking 1 of my email accounts and I see that someone had flagged 2 of my most precious lenses. So I went to my Squidoo account only to find out that their moderators had decided to BLOCK my lenses
The lens I had was making regular sales and was listed 1# in Google for it's buyer keyword. So I go and read the TOS and find out because of new Squidoo laws my lens was going against it, that was total BS because I had the lens for almost 1 year! 1 year and 1 persons flags it and its gone.
So anyway I decide to take my business else where and I set up a quick blogger blog, I took all the content from my lens and plastered it into my blogger blog and to tell you the truth it looks 100 times better.
So the point of my story is...use Blogger or Google pages you can get ranked highly with both of these sites, blogger has really cool free templates and you have way more flexibility.
I still think squidoo is good but check the TOS before you put a heap of time into your lenses or you too might get blocked.
