Firstly welcome to my make money online beginners blog, I genuinely hope you can learn something here.
Before I began to build my own online business I had no goals, hopes or inspirations. I really didn’t want to work for someone else so I began looking for opportunities. There was a business opportunity introduced to me and partner which was called A2K. My partner was very interested in it so we joined. This was a offline business some might call this a “Pyramid Scheme” but it’s just a well thought out business, anyway I really didn’t like it because there is too much work involved.
So I continued on my mission to find something else. I came across a ad on TV about surveys & how you could make money with them, so I brought a membership to a survey site and began doing everything they told me to do.
Yeah I really didn’t get far with that, well not to the level of money I wanted so I moved on to a product called DataEntryBank, Get paid typing ads online. When I checked out the sales page it looked awesome I thought that this is a great idea, but it wasn’t it was a dumb investment I lost over $500 with that purchase. This was around the time of the infamous Google Slap, and man I got B*tch-Slapped. I did gain a little knowledge of what not to do with pay per click and other advertising methods.
So now I was pretty Angry and I wanted my money back but they weren’t going to give it back, so I had to give a little to gain a little, so I made my second purchase (remember this was all before I new what I was doing I basically went from Clueless to IT Super Women and this was not overnight success), The Rich Jerk. This guide was great everything I was looking for at the time was in this ebook + I got to meet some really awesome people at the RJ forum.
At this time in my marketing life I had know idea what a blog was, no idea what HTML was I knew absolutely nothing about the world of online marketing, I did do 1 smart thing which was buy a Domain name & Hosting.
So I began building my website (most most successful 1 to date) it was cool it was to do with health but it was a untapped niche, hardly any marketers were into this. Anyway with my no knowledge but my will to learn I started building this site, to me it looked awesome but to others it looked like a complete mess, I was trying to build yahoo LOL. So I went over to the forum and asked for an opinion on the site the reactions weren’t good It took me a week to coy and paste what I had done LMAO.
Anyway by the end of that I figured out I have to have a niche, so I tore my site a part and began building a proper site. The day after I had finished building this site I had to take 3 months off because of a family tragedy and other family issues so that delayed my progress in this business a bit, but hey what can you do.
But when I came back I discovered my little niche site that had no advertising, no attention (it look totally ugly) and broken links had been getting traffic I was LMAO and more then that it was making like $30-$50 for each of those months off of adsense, Thats what made me work harder and keep going seeing how well you can do at this without even doing anything.
Internet marketing is a fun and awesome business, sometimes it can suck but it’s 1000,0000,00000.00 times better that working for other people and the best thing is you can do this anywhere in the world.
So after 2 years this is what I taught myself to do…
SEO, thats how I got the traffic to my first site.

I’ve just joined the rj forum and for quite sometimes now I’ve been reading your posts and comments on there. I find you a v. honest person, somewhere homble and nice. It’s hard not get scamed on the internet marketing busisness these days when you don’t know much about it. Yup and that’s me :(. But hey, I didn’t get in the Rj forum for not reason and my willness and streght to fight and make money online is there with much fufillment. I need help on how to start makin’ money for free on the internet like taking surveys etc. I’ve started with a few websites but some of them seem just reach upto a certainr amount and then nothing happens. Is there anyway you can help me? any suggestions or good survey sites you can adress me.. At the mean time I’m learnin’ about affiliats, niches, traffics, ppc, adsense, adwords etc but again Im so new at this. I’m 20 yrs old and I wish I could make a livin’ of this by the time I’m 22.. can you really grow in this bussisness soon?

LOL, im 22 now but still trying to grow my online venture, i will say though that giving up partypoker was the best thing i have ever done, moneys not the problem with me its the time, i can play poker all day every day…anyway in the last 3 months i have made a lot of sale created 5 proper niche web sites and have create a small little empire of blogger blogs
just recently 1 of them has really taken off, im getting fresh & free traffic from google and loads of it, and ive only had the blog for about 2 weeks, anyway dont give up sebz cos in the end it will be worth all the time and effort you put in, but you have to put in the time and effort.

yes you do have to advertise it, have you read through the members area page they have a whole heap of places you can advertise this program to.
just follow the steps if you go to forums make sure to place it in your sig there thats where i have been making a lot of my sales from
um and read thru my list of 20 Free Traffic Generation Techniques also hit the google groups
and when you upload it, upload it to a subdomian you can even make a squidoo lens for it - trust me people want to buy this because its cheap and it does work
what even better is there is hardly any competition
i brought this script 1 year ago when it was extremely hot now everyone has forgotten about it and we can make it hot again

I just recently purchased the rich jerk book and I’ve been reading through the forum posts and you seem to be a woman I’d like to learn from.
I’m extremely new to this whole internet marketing thing and I’m still trying to see where to get going. Can I ask you honestly how long do you think it would take for someone to make an extra $600 a month? I’m thinking of using affiliate marketing through a blogger. I also liked your google pages info and will try to set a few of those up as well. I’m not bad at writing so i’m not worried about the articles, but I’m just not sure exactly how to start. Should I go with one or two niches for now or should I try to make several googlepages and use the adsense as an additional stream of income. I think i’m on information overload and not sure where to proceed. Help!

If I where going to start a new project id go with the Google Pages you can make the affiliate pages or adsense pages personally i like Adsense pages for my g-pages, G-pages are also great for backlinks to your main website if you have 1.
I don’t recommend CB for affiliate sales go with paydotcom they are more reliable.
Just remember when you get started to focus on 1 type of income having to much on a page will cause visitors to leave .

So to clarify when you say adsense pages, you mean like a site on a topic that uses adsense for payperclick income, not necessarily an affiliate linked page, but like an informational content page with the related adsense. i just want to make sure that i understand what you mean.

exactly, really good content focused on high paying keywords like: Health, Cars, Insurance, Real estate, travel etc anything that advertisers pay a lot of money for is really good for ppc income.

Thanks for this information. I have seen your posts on the rj forum. I think you are a trustworthy person. I like your answers to the questions that are posted. How do you copy and paste a hoplink to your web browser. I have seen the videos about cb marketplace, but I can’t figure out where to paste my hoplinks. I am creating my g pages now. Thanks. What else can I be doing now to get going faster than I am right now. I have no stats on my rj website.

Just copy the hoplink and paste it in your browser
focus on traffic, check out my 20 free traffic generation list, those are sure ways to get traffic.

If the RJ site is the only site you have yes, it really depends on how you are trying to make money. If your going for affiliate sales you need to find you market, you need to find desperate people who want to make money now, those are your buyers.
Personally I like taking money from big money advertisers, not poor people, If I do sell something to this market its something of great value and I know they can make there money back and put the items into easy action.
