We all know that making money in the insurance niche is great and you get paid a lot when you refer new people to these companies, but have you ever wondered how much money reps make? I mean people who are working it in the real world.

Well recently my partner got approached to sell insurance, he took up the job and headed off to the training course provided by the insurance company. They paid for his Accommodation and his meals while he was studying for 2 weeks.

Once he got home he had 2 more weeks of paid training to complete, on the job him and his tutor made $2,000.00 in the first week and then $5,000.00 in the second week. I could believe it! Out of the 16 people they meet and showed the insurance plan to 10 people brought their insurance plan.

I don’t know about you but that’s a lot of money. So if you look at the conversion rate it’s almost like 55%.  So that got me too thinking that most of the affiliate marketers promoting insurance must be getting ripped off, I am pretty sure that there is no insurance affiliate program, that pays out that much money.

So how much commission do they can make selling insurance?

Well the lowest amount of money they can make is something like $140.00 to $2,000 per sale on what ever type of plan the person chooses.

So if internet marketing isn’t doing it for you and you have to get a real job then I highly recommend you give insurance a go. Warning: You may have to make hundreds of cold calls to get appointments, but if they buy it, it is so worth it.

Wordpress is mainly used for blogging, but I like to use them as normal static websites. When I use a static blog I will use it for landing pages or ebay web stores using PHPBay Pro. No matter what you want to do you can use wordpress to do it.

To make a Wordpress static static site you will need…

A Domain Name: I use name.com or Godaddy.com
Hosting: I use Host Gator which includes fantastico.
Fantastico: For 1 click installation.
Affiliate Program: So you can make money.
Content: Have your content pre written and ready to add to your new site.

If you have all of the above then we are ready to start and I will show you how quickly you can have your new Wordpress static site up and ready to run.

1. Install Wordpress: Login to your c-panel and install Wordpress.
2. Add your main content to a page: You will need to have written your main page, you should have done what is written below in step 3.

Now you must publish this page.

To make a page sticky click “Settings” then click “Reading” you will now see “Front page displays”
next there will be more options, you can choose from “your latest posts” or “A static page” you will now choose the “Static page”option.

Clicking that option will make you’re page static.

3. Add Pages: Instead of adding a new post you will add pages, to do this click “pages” then click “add new” add your pre-written content to the page then publish.

1 more thing - What ever you name your main page it will show up with all the other pages and not as “HOME” so if you want to change this you will need to edit your theme.

To edit your theme so you only have the pages you want to be seen showing…

Login to your wordpress c-panel click “Appearance” click “Editor” then click “Header”.

You need to look for code similar to this…

Then change it to this…

Some themes will allow you to do this and others won’t, you will need to check the theme first to see if you can do it. Also the title name of your main page will show up in pages if you have them in the sidebar.

Firstly happy new year everyone, I hope you all had a good one.

So, about a month ago I put together a step by step course (Which I called “My Secret Affiliates”) to help new and lost affiliate marketers get traffic to any type of niche site and how to make money online selling market health products.

I haven’t officially released the course and probably never will to the public, I find the right candidates via forums and offer my helping hand (for FREE) if they look like they need it.

I met a guy on the warrior forum and I offered to help him out, in return he signed up under me at market health and we began to working on the Secret Affiliate Project.

Here’s what we did…

1. Brought a targeted domain name.

2. Set up a 3 page product review site using Wordpress.

3. Submitted 5 keyword targeted articles.

Results: Well after about 3 weeks of setting up the website and submitting a few articles my secret affiliate has made his first sale! I am not exactly sure how much money he made but I think it was between $50.00 - $100.00.

My goal is to help him make at least $200.00 a week from market health products. At the moment we are still working together and I will probably continue to help him for another month.
